Playing With Fire
Fine Art Glass Blowing Workshops

Workshop Session Details

Workshops are organized around 2 stages in the glass blowing process: the "hot shop," where the actual glass blowing takes place; and, the "cold shop," where the works are finished.

Both Day 1 and 2 take place in the hot shop. By the end of the first day, you will have mastered the basics to create a solid form glass object. During day two, the focus is on adding to your new-found skills to create a unique and beautiful work of mouth-blown glass art.

The evening session - you'll pick the date with your workshop mates - will take you to the cold shop. Once the glass has been given time to cool down properly, you'll put the finishing touches to your work. The result will surely be a work of art that you'll want to show with pride.

Each day is 7 hours long, starting at 9am and ending at 4pm, with a break for lunch. The additional evening session in the following week to wrap up will be 3 hours.
Please contact the artist for current pricing and dates. The workshop includes all needed tools and materials.
