Minna Koistinen's Bio

Receiving an MFA from the University of Art & Design in Helsinki in 1997, I have been living and working in Toronto since that time

I have been a member of Geisterblitz Glass Studio, an internationally renowned partnership of glass professionals, artists, and designers, since 1999.

I have conducted fine art glass blowing workshops since 2001, leading more than 100 students through the the process of glass art making.
"As a geologist's daughter, I learned about minerals at an early age. Growing up in my native Finland, this knowledge translated into my love for glass - a material providing endless possibilities for discovery."
