Fine Art Glass Blowing Workshops

Playing With Fire is the Toronto-area glass-blowing workshop series given by Minna Koistinen and her assistant Andrea Doggett. Created with hands-on practice in mind, these engaging studio workshops focus on creating a unique work of glass art you can be proud to exhibit!

All our workshops are geared to absolute beginners and you may choose any workshop from our list as your first one! We recommend starting with solid working (i.e. paperweights) as level one if you wish to gain basic knowledge before trying your hand at blowing. Our workshops are Arts and Entertainment style rather than schooling. You will learn many aspects of the art of glassblowing, but if you want to continue with a commitment, please review the list of schools and institutions in the Links page.
